You: it's okay. indonesia is in south east asia

Stranger: why did you start german studies?
You: because in high school i learned the language, but only language.
You: i'm curious because germany seems a great country, so i study further
You: here in german studies, i learn your language, culture. literature, etc.
You: i really wanna go there someday

You: last october we celebrated Kulturfest.
You: it's an annual event for us
Stranger: what do you do there?
Stranger: and how many students are doing this?
You: the staff is about 240 students, but we also invite another people from other university
You: we did a lot of activities
Stranger: I'm just wondering why you don't call it Oktoberfest
Stranger: as it's in Oktober ^^
You: dance (your traditional dance), singing your song, cooking demontration, etc. we invite people from embassy
Stranger: we have a traditional dance? ^^
You: yeah, actually the concept is like oktoberfest. but it's different right, the feel of octoberfest in germany must be very different with what we have here. so we named it kulturfest
You: i am not sure, haha
You: but the dancer wear dirndil, etc
Stranger: well that is german definetly
Stranger: well at least bavarian

You: i wanna have the real oktoberfest in Germany. haha
Stranger: never been there either
Stranger: It's hard to get seats and very expensive
Stranger: the real deal in Munich at least
You: i know that. that's why i keep googling for scholarship to go there
You: like scholarshio for summer course, etc
Stranger: Well if there are any you should ask at the embassy shouldn't you?

You: i wanna prove everything we had learn here.
You: but it is really difficult to get scholarship. the competition is so hard
Stranger: I can see that, with 250 students

You: ya. last year two friends got summer course scholarship from DAAD. They were there for one month
You: yes, i have question,
You: do you have any scholarship info from university or whoever. haha
Stranger: Well I know that my university has a lot of exchange students, but mainly from engineering
You: almost desperate since this year is my last year being a students of german studies
You: ya, ya, i get that.
Stranger: Problem is that while european universities have huge exchange problems, it is like 98% intereuropean
You: it's esy for europen but a little bit difficult for asian
Stranger: well my university has no connections to Indonesia
Stranger: at least that's what the site says
You: unless you're a really smart students. unfortunately i'm not the smartest one.
You: which university you study?
Stranger: I'm in Oldenburg

You: no, i'm an optimistic people. there's a lot of way to reach what i want

You: no, i am at Universitas Indonesia
You: in SGU they have chance to take internship in germany
Stranger: yeah I just read that
You: that's why the cost in SGU much more expensive than mine
Stranger: hm typical
You: because they get guarantee to go there. so only, rich people have opportunities to study there
Stranger: well that's the way of the world
Stranger: I gotta stay here too

You: i've heard that study in public school is free. is it right?
Stranger: depends on the part of Germany
Stranger: in Lower Saxony you have fees
You: in which part is free?
Stranger: though they might get abolished soon
Stranger: All except Lower Saxony, Hamburg and Berlin i think
Stranger: but I'm not sure
You: why it will be abolished? due to the crisis in europe?
Stranger: Na we got a more workercentric government
Stranger: and they want to make poorer people be able to go to university
Stranger: so they abolish fees
You: miss understanding is here. i thought the (free) fee will be abolished. but actually the fee itself.
You: am i right?
Stranger: yeah the fee itself will be abolished
Stranger: we won't have to pay anymore in a year
Stranger: well at least less

You: so, since that time all fee will be abolished. or at least the fee will be decreased

Stranger: yeah a lot of countries want to buy german weapons
Stranger: I wish theyd abolish weapon industry
You: totally agree with you. if there's no weapon. then there will be no war
You: sometimes i think, that the country who sell weapon also have contribution in making war
Stranger: they definetly do
Stranger: a lot of blood on our hands
You: yeah, but since weapon industry make alot of money. so maybe it's impossible to stop the production
